Author Biography

Anaïs Nin was born on February 21, 1903 in France and die on January 14, 1977. She spentsome time in Spain and Cuba but lived most of her life in the United States where she became an established author.By profession she was a Journalist, Novelist, Essayist, Author and anActor. Anais was one of the first women known to explore fully the realm of erotic writing, and certainly the first prominent woman in the modern West known to write erotica.She began herliterary career in Paris and moved to New York in the 1940s. She won late recognition with thepublication of the first volume of her diaries. Her famous Novel includes A Spy in the House of Love, Ladders of fire, Little Birds and Under the Glass Bell.
