Jarod Kintz Travel Quote
Jarod Kintz Travel Quote: She said her heavy luggage had wheels, so I said, “Here, why don’t I carry that for you?” I was in stupid love.
Jarod Kintz was born in Salt Lake City, United States on March 5, 1982. He moved to Denver, Colorado where he attended Mackintosh Academy. He studied multiple languages as a young boy including French, Spanish and Japanese. At the end of grade two, his family moved to Jacksonville, Florida. A self-assessed ‘mediocre’ student, Kintz enjoyed art, P.E. and lunch the most. He became absent, both mentally and physically from school but continued on and to move on to college. He graduated with an English degree from the University of Florida but took creative writing classes from both UF and Florida State University.
He wrote t-shirt slogans and other pithy things. He has written many books like Email from a Madman, I Want, I should have Renamed This and It occurred to me. He was rejected by the finest creative writing program in the University of Iowa’s MFA program, and also the not so finest creative writing program. A big believer of failing your way to success, as mentioned he has been rejected by many different institutes, agents and publishers yet it has not deterred him from continuing and in fact, he celebrates these setbacks and sees them as comical now looking back. All of his books are self-published, using the collections of ‘random-thoughts’ to write, he has used iUniverse and Amazon Kindle programs to get the words out to the masses. A quote from Kintz himself, ” I’ve been writing for about a decade now, and I’m getting better every ten years. I went from terrible to tolerable, and in 2021 I hope to be Tolstoy. “
