Anthony Michael Bourdain an American chef, author, and television personality was born in New York City on June 25, 1956, and grew up in New Jersey. After his article “Don’t Read Before Eating This” appeared in the New Yorker to raves in 1997, Anthony Bourdain moved from one high-profile culinary project to the next, including TV shows A Cook’s Tour and No Reservations. He has also written several books, including like Kitchen Confidential, No Reservations: Around the World on an Empty Stomach, Medium Raw and many more. Anthony Bourdain was named Food Writer of the Year by Bon Appetit magazine for Kitchen Confidential. Bourdain’s No Reservation won the Critics’ Choice Best Reality Series award on 2012 and also won many awards for his Books, Blogs and TV shows. Anthony Bourdain took his life during the filming of Parts Unknown in France on June 8th, 2018.
